About
Tautoko Mai Sexual Harm Support is a free 24-hour service in the Bay of Plenty for adults, teenagers and children who have been sexually assaulted. We have staff based in Tauranga and Whakatane.
Our Lead Clinicians are Dr Melanie Johns and Sandy Waller (Adult Service) and Dr Vivienne Hobbs (Child Service).
For Non-fatal Strangulation or Suffocation Assessment Service (NFSSAS) enquiries, please contact Tautoko Mai Sexual Harm Support on 0800 227 233, or email refer@tautokomai.co.nz and ask to speak with a member of the medical team.
National support services
