About

Phone us on 0800 742 546. This is also the Southland Hospital Sexual Health Clinic phone line. You may reach an answerphone – if you do, leave your name and a phone number that you can be called back on. Our nurse will contact you soon afterwards. Someone else can phone if you cannot. We accept phone calls from anybody; you can phone us yourself, or any person you choose can contact us.

Our Lead Clinician is Dr Jill McIlraith.

The areas we serve are Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell, and Northern Southland. Queenstown runs a separate roster from Dunedin, but is managed under the Southern DHB SAATS contract administered by the Dunedin service.

For Non-fatal Strangulation or Suffocation Assessment Service (NFSSAS) enquiries, please contact Dr Jill McIlraith at jill.mcilraith@aurorahealth.co.nz or 027 442 2167.

For Inter-SAATS referrals:

  • fax 03 470 9781, ATTN SAATS Team

  • phone 03 474 0999 and ask for the SAATS Team, or

  • mail Southern DHB, Private Bag 1921, Dunedin 9054, ATTN SAATS Team.
