Kate was a brilliant and dedicated lawyer (partner at Luke Cunningham Clere), whose contributions to MEDSAC’s educational offerings over the years have been invaluable in keeping our members informed about the sexual assault legal landscape.
After a prolonged battle with cancer, Kate’s health rapidly deteriorated over the last few weeks and she passed peacefully over the weekend.
Her legacy and compassion for survivors of sexual assault and abuse will continue to inspire us all. Our thoughts are with her friends and whānau during this difficult time.
