Forensic medical assessment and treatment of Non-Fatal Strangulation/Suffocation (NFSS Module 4) training day

Friday 12 April 2024

Face to face event

About this event

This in-person training day provides an opportunity for networking, in-person support and discussion about service delivery including perspectives from other experts working in the area of non-fatal strangulation.

Priority is given to applicants who are accredited SAATS forensic examiners or PMOs; those who work for services with a high caseload to clinician ratio; and those who can contribute to the provision of their local non-acute NFSS service. MEDSAC will contact the lead clinician of your local SAATS/NFSS service before confirming your spot, so please ensure your local SAATS can support you in this work before applying.

We have a maximum of 20 attendees and this session is open to previous attendees.

Prerequisites

Attendees need to complete the three preliminary NFSS eLearning modules (Modules 1 - 3) before attending the event.
