Manager: Services Support & Quality Portfolios

We are seeking a talented Manager to join our team!

  • Contribute to making a difference within the health sector
  • Flexible working from home, with quarterly travel required
  • Full time, 40 hours per week

The opportunity:

This role is unique where you will be solely responsible for leading a key portfolio focused on overseeing quality assurance and improvement activities across funded services. You will also be responsible for the following portfolios:

  • Manual
  • Research & Clinical Surveys
  • Formal Statement Review Processes (MERG)
  • Clinical Advice Forum (CAF)
  • Supporting Contracted Services (Lead Clinicians and Contract Administration)

Your ability to create positive relationships and engage with the sector will be important.

Your role will see you:

  • Engage with various stakeholders including subject matter experts, working groups, and members to build lasting relationships
  • Work closely with staff, working/advisory groups, and subject matter experts who contribute to resources, surveys, guidelines, and programmes
  • Update online resources arising from surveys, education programmes and reviews
  • Ensure changes to resources are effectively communicated both internally and externally and actioned appropriately
  • Develop tools to coordinate surveys, gather feedback and obtain high quality datasets
  • Assist the Research Lead to develop high quality evidence-based research
  • Collaborate with other portfolio managers and to develop key events
  • Coordinate and develop a sustainable pool of quality and peer reviewers
  • Develop and maintain information that contributes to best practice and framework
  • Develop and maintain a document management process for record keeping
  • Conduct and coordinate quality assurance reviews to make continuous improvement
  • Edit and maintain relevant systems and platforms with any updates as required
  • Looks for opportunities to streamline and improve processes

  • Excellent communication skills that allow you to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Experience in supporting, guiding, and driving groups of diverse stakeholders to improve results
  • Well-developed analytical, problem solving, influencing and organisational skills
  • Confidence to make sure that changes are adopted by our specialist sector
  • Curiosity about how things work and looking for ways to make things work better for those delivering specialist services across Aotearoa NZ
  • Working independently/remotely with flexibility to meet the organisations objectives
  • In addition, a basic understanding and acknowledgement of the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Mātauranga Māori and te reo Māori is a welcome advantage.

We are seeking a talented Manager to join our team!

  • Contribute to making a difference within the health sector
  • Flexible working from home, with nationwide travel required
  • Part time, 20 hours per week

In this newly created role (previously incorporated with other portfolios) you will be solely responsible for the development and delivery of effective communications, website management and the production of publications.

Your role will see you:

  • Establish and implement an effective communications strategy and calendar
  • Ensure brand is aligned, relevant, accurate and engaging across various channels
  • Create content that will raise awareness of the services available
  • Ensure information is visible and accessible to all relevant communities
  • Produce online publications for members (latest news, newsletter, journal club)
  • Curate publicly available resources including articles, presentations, sector interviews
  • Manage, publish, and maintain up to date information on the website
  • Facilitate website access to resources and assist with any access issues
  • Ensure the service provider directory information is current and up to date
  • Provide ongoing development and production of publications
  • Work closely with staff, working groups and subject matter experts who contribute to publication content

  • Creating compelling content for the appropriate audience and across a range of channels
  • Managing brand, campaigns, and production of publications
  • Designing visually appealing content, graphics, and collateral (graphic design skills desirable but not essential)
  • Managing a website/content management system
  • Working independently/remotely with flexibility to meet the organisations objectives
  • In addition, a basic understanding and acknowledgement of the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Mātauranga Māori and te reo Māori is a welcome advantage.
